INTRO TO WINE
Want to know more about wine, how to buy, taste, and talk about wine?
If the answer is yes, this wine class is for you.
The goal of this class is to help you not fall in love with wine. learn how to appreciate it and enjoy it more.
We will talk briefly about the history of wine, different types of wine, wine production, new world vs old world wines, major wine regions, and major wine varieties.
We will talk about terroir, and vintages, about how to select and buy wine, storing wine, and preserving it, and wine gadgets.
We will learn basic wine and food pairing and learn the wine lingo.
We will go over some wine etiquette, how to evaluate and how to talk about wine, and much more.

After 15 years as a leader in the High-tech industry, it was time for me to follow my heart and start my journey as a sommelier. What was until then just a hobby, became a profession.

Wine has always fascinated me. Even as an enthusiast I have been taking courses, producing wine, judging in wine competitions, and traveling to many wine regions.
Today, I am a DipWSET Level 4 candidate with experience as a service provider at a high pace NYC restaurant, and a mission, to help people fall in love with wine.
